New Year's Resolution
Okay folks, you all know it's about that time. Time for everybody and they're mama to make that new year's resolution. You know, the one that they make of the 31st or 1st and quit on the 2nd, if that long!! come on people, who you fooling? You know good and well that as soon as those words left your lips they were gone in the wind. I'm not trying to down you or anything. If that's what you do, then do you, but I'ma do me (shouts to Rocko, what up Boy)!! How about make your resolution to keep your resolution? How about that?! Can I see a show of hands of those that made a resolution last year that didn't even last 5 minutes? Or what about those that made the normal resolutions like " I'ma go on a diet starting...." Why not start today? Or how about the ones about saving money etc.. Don't wait on the new year, just do it. I mean what is the purpose of a new year's resolutions anyway? I'm sure there is some significance to it somewhere on the web, but of course you know I'm not gonna look it up..It's not that serious. I just feel like new year's resolutions are for the birds.. I'm not falling for the booby trap. Some words of advice, if you come at me with that "so what's your resolution.." crap you better fall back or fall back ya dig!! I keed I keed... Or maybe not. I am so sincere about the resolutions though.. I'm so cool on that. If you agree you agree. If not you're probably one of those that can't keep a resolution past 30 minutes and you feel a little touched. You throw a rock in a pack of dogs, the one that screams is the one that's hit... It is what it is. I promise I'm not hating. If you do resolutions and the black eyed peas and collard greens thing than do you. don't let me rain on your parade. I just don't believe you, you need more people!! Anyway, If I don't get a chance to post again before the new year, happy new year and I wish you all Peace and many blessings!! Think of me New year's eve as I spend the first half of my birthday (12/31) at work. Ho Hum, Oh well

I'm not big on resolutions either... so I feel ya!

I think people just need to face the facts.. no need to lie to yourself. you're only fooling yourself..
I never do resolutions, but I do set new goals each month and work away at them throughout that month. I figure why wait until the first of the year; if a change needs making, do it now.

Now that makes so much more sense than to make a resolution at the beginning of every year that you know you won't keep. I think I may start doing that myself.

Thanks!!! Happy belated.. when was yours? I tried to find the contest but I couldn't so my resolution is to not make a resolution!! lol sounds like a winner to me!!! hahaha
